Newmarket Selling Centre is the largest thoroughbred selling
centre in the Southern Hemisphere. The masterplan involved the progressive
replacement of 600 loose boxes and associated facilities whilst rationalising
the horse and pedestrian traffic movement. The facilities built and refurbished
to date include 500 new stables, sand rolls, horse washes, parade areas,
together with VIP lounges and associated facilities. The project involved
the development of a new modular stabling system using loose fit solid
australian hardwood in a hot dipped galvanised steel frame. |
