The Hunter Valley Equine Centre masterplan incorporates facets of Hospitality Industry and Equine Management, including Race Track, Spectator Seating, Food outlets, Lounge Areas, Day Stalls, Equine Research Centre, T.A.F.E. facilities, Equine Museum and other related amenities.

With little infrastructure and planning existing in the broad landscape site, a strong masterplan had to be established to ensure development over time was logical, functional and sympathetic to the existing environment. Practical requirements such as separation of equine and pedestrian movement, quarantine, response to landform etc added to the depth of this design.
