Established in 1984 by Timothy Court following 14 years experience
with large corporate practices in Australia, UK and USA, the firm has grown
progressively, concentrating on medium to large scale commercial projects with
an emphasis on the Hospitality Industry and Sporting Club Facilities.
In 1986 the firm was presented with the Greenway Award and the Lachlan Macquarie
award by the Royal Australian Institute of Architects, these awards represent
the highest State and National awards for restoration and conservation in Australia.
Following this the firm was listed by the Heritage Council as recommended Heritage
Architects.
In 1991 Timothy Court and his wife purchased historic Sutton Farm in Sutton
Forest and established what is now recognised as one of New South Wales leading
Equestrian Centres.
In 1996 the firm relocated from Sydney to Sutton Forest with the aim of maximising
efficiency and providing the Highlands with a much needed exclusively commercial
architectural and planning consultancy for the areas expanding tourism and hospitality
industry.
Since this move the firm has been engaged by many of New South Wales major sporting
organisations including Golf, Sailing, Racing and Equestrian Clubs to provide
architectural and planning services with a major commission of note being the
design, documentation and construction supervision of the Olympic Equestrian
Centre at Horsley Park in Sydney.
As recommended architects of the Heritage Council the firm has also an ongoing
involvement in the adaptive reuse and fire upgrading of heritage buildings,
with our knowledge of government departments and councils assisting in the creative
development of these difficult projects.
The firm which comprises a young energetic team of qualified architects, uses
state of the art computer CAD packages that enable clients to see
interactive virtual reality models of the design both during and on completion
of the design process, thus ensuring a full comprehension of design and planning
proposals prior to construction.
The many years of running a commercial practice in Sydney brings to the Highlands
for the first time, a firm with extensive experience and expertice in dealing
with projects on a functional and fiscal viewpoint, with the ability to translate
a viable commercial idea into a built solution of great beauty within site,
time and budget constraints.
